I have always had a connection to the natural world, an appreciation for all living things, from the soil in the ground to the idea of a human spirit. I believe these elements are all connected simply because of the ontology of being. In a world where there are only three living groups, plants, animals, and humans, I believe there is an inevitable connection of energy between all three. This natural connection of energy between all living beings is an energy that I attempt to capture in my work. I use compositional elements, along with fantastical subject matter and illustrations to create a flow of energy throughout my pieces.
